Game 6 - It was a close game. Lowry had a big night, so as Iguodala for the Warriors. Klay was amazing but sadly suffered an injury in the 3rd and did not go back to the game. It was a sign for the Warriors. Leonard finished the job. The Toronto Raptors became the first non-American team to win the NBA Finals. Kawhi Leonard received the MVP trophy for the second time in his career. Congratulations to Canada!
Game 5 - Durant suffered an injury again. It was a devastating blow for the Warriors. Leonard seemed to take the game on his hands but the Warriors somehow survived with the Splash brothers exceptional three-point shooting. We are going back to the Oracle Arena, 3-2.
Game 4 - Thompson will be back but still without Durant. The Raptors are now 2 wins away to win their first ever championship. Can the Raptors take advantage of the limping Warriors or Thompson makes a difference again in this crucial Game 4? Kawhi and the rest of the Raptors blaze on the third quarter and now 1 win away for Toronto's first ever NBA title, 3-1.
Game 3 - Warriors was back at the Oracle but without Thompson, Looney, and Durant, who is still recovering from calf injury. Curry had an incredible night with 47 points but not enough against a much healthier and complete Raptors team. Raptors spoiled Warriors return in Oakland, 2-1.
Game 2 - Back to the Scotiabank Arena and the Raptors started strong again. However, Cousins played hard and the Warriors came back swinging in the 3rd quarter. Raptors tried to get back on it but missed a lot in the fourth. Iguodala, with his Finals magic again, made a dagger three with six seconds remaining on the clock. Warriors tied the series 1-1.
Game 1 - The NBA Finals was played outside the US and it's the Raptors who enjoyed home court advantage this time. Iguodala and the Warriors defended Leonard very well but Pascal Siakam came out big with a very efficient night. Gasol and Vanvleet have some big contributions too. Raptors win and Canada is celebrating 1-0.
